On International Migrants Day, December 18th 2018, UNESCO is hosting a very important event in Geneva to discuss key findings and recommendations from the 2019 Global and Education Monitoring Report and reflect on the inclusion of migrant children and youth in national education systems and education’s role in making societies more resilient to migrant flows.
A high-level panel consisting of education policy makers, representatives of international institutions, academics and practitioners will reflect on the capacity of the education systems to include children and youth from migrant backgrounds.
SIRIUS’ Chair, Thomas Huddelston, is part of this high-level panel on behalf of SIRIUS to bring our voice and vision on migrant and refugee education! ?
